Founder

Gilly Mulford - Worldwide cover

Having owned dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, ferrets and horses, I know how important our pets are to us.  Not only do they enhance our lives, by giving unconditional love, they have a huge impact on our physical and mental wellbeing.

It is only right that we afford them the same love and attention that they give us.

As not all animals are suited to boarding environments so we offer a service that accommodates them in their own home.

I have a passion for giving you peace of mind so you too can enjoy having a break when you need it, and I get to share cuddles with the most amazing pets!

I am also the founder of Your Household PA, a private household and business admin support service, giving you back precious time.   With a Fellowship from the Institute of Administrative Management, I am a dedicated professional known for my 'never a problem only a solution' motto.

Beyond my career, I am a NHS Cardiac Arrest/Community Responder with the RVS and  fundraise in support of a local mental health charity in memory of my son.

Tails of Pawfection offers worldwide pet sitting, together with travel companionship for your pets, when you’re unable to.

I  look forward to meeting you and your fur babies soon.

Meet Our Pawsome Pack

Martin and Caroline

Caroline & Martin - Oxfordshire

Caroline and her husband Martin have over 18 years’ experience of cat and dog ownership, with Martin also owning rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. He also rescued battery hens as a youngster and nursed them back to happy, fully feathered, egg laying ‘pets’.

Their dog was a rehomed rescue with some interesting quirks, (namely cats, lawnmowers, wheels, roads, and other dogs), so they have years of experience in managing happy and safe walks, whilst maintaining high levels of vigilance for potential issues!

Their own pets were never put into kennels at holiday times

Caroline

because they know how important it is for animals to have their routines maintained in their own safe and familiar environment.

Caroline and Martin have taken the opportunity to retire early from the rat race, and whilst owning their own pet is not possible at this time, due to some travelling commitments, they have the passion, time, energy and enthusiasm to care for your pets in your home. They also have experience in administering medications.

Rob

Rob - South England

Rob is a life-long dog lover, who has recently discovered the joys of dog-sitting. He is lucky to have a lifestyle where he travels abroad regularly, but this means that unfortunately he can't have his own dog easily.

Rob loves the nature of dogs and their positive energy, getting out and about in the open air and countryside. Sometimes he thinks that he enjoys a walk almost as much as the dogs, but is well aware that for most dogs, exercise is the most important thing in their daily lives.

Rob has his own online business and so is able to work from almost anywhere, which allows him to be extremely flexible and able to sit at short notice.

Rob has received some amazing feedback from owners who were extremely nervous about leaving their young Collie.  Read more here...

Gill -  Worldwide

Gill fell into pet-sitting accidentally. She’s the kind, responsible person that you’d trust with your most precious, so when a tight spot came up with friends she was naturally the first port of call. Now 4 years down the line it has developed into a regular affair for different pet owners.

She has been around animals most of her life with a family dog, many pet rabbits and cats. Gill also had a horse share so happy to help out there too. Fully adaptable to maintain your pet’s routine in the comfort of your own home.

For Gill life is all about choices and flexibility and consequently â€‹post raising 3 children, she has created a business that enables just that. The opportunity to work from anywhere there is a good wifi connection, enjoy her love of travel and have a healthy life balance.

As a transformational Business Coach she helps others to create businesses that fit the life they want to lead rather than the other way round.

Matt Profile photo.JPG

Matt - North Devon

Matt is a young, energetic, and outdoorsy individual with a passion for fitness, football, and, most importantly, caring for animals. His love for pets stems from years of hands-on experience, having cared for a variety of animals including cats, guinea pigs, and his beloved husky, who he’s had for the past eight years. Matt’s husky, a rehomed dog adopted at age three, presented unique challenges due to lack of training from previous owners. Through patience and dedication, Matt successfully transformed those struggles into a rewarding bond.

When he’s not at the gym or on the football pitch, you’ll find Matt exploring the countryside, beaches, and woodlands. These adventures aren’t just for him—they’re essential for keeping his dog active, healthy, and happy.

Matt's flexible working pattern means he can easily incorporate pet sitting into his daily routine, offering reliable, attentive care for your furry family members.
